Amazon Payments and Ecommerce Templates

Ecommerce Templates has worked closely with Amazon Payments to offer our customers a great new way to offer payments through their online store.

As the integration has been done for you, receiving payments through your store using Amazon Payments is a very simple process.

1. Sign up for an Amazon Payments Account.
2. Log into your store control panel and enter your Access Key and Secret Key in the Amazon Simple Pay admin page.
3. Upload your company logo for cobranding on checkout.
4. Use the Amazon sandbox to check your set up and you should be ready to go.

New Ecommerce Template customers

If you are new to Ecommerce Templates then after purchasing the Dreamweaver, Frontpage, CSS, Generic or Golive version you will first need to upload all the store files to the server and make the database connection before following the above steps. All the general set up instructions for your store are outlined in our downloadable User Manual.

How it works

	1. The customer adds an item to cart and selects Amazon Payments as their chosen payment method
	2. The customer is taken to the Amazon Payments secure website.
	3. The customer chooses a payment method and makes the payment.
	4. The customer is returned to your thanks page and receives a confirmation email from Amazon and the store.

Once the purchase has gone through you will be notified via email of the transaction and it will also be posted to your Ecommerce Template admin orders page. You will also probably want to sign into your Amazon Payments account to verify the details of the order. The buyer will also receive notification of the sale via email.

Please note that our digital download plug-in is compatible with Amazon Payments.
