| Why
did you choose EcommerceTemplates?
Our web designer had used ECT before to
set up ecommerce shops for clients, but it was the way
the list of features matched up with our needs that sold
us. We needed multiple payment option (PayPal, 2Checkout,
Purchase Order, Check/Money Order), the ability to set
shipping costs buy product (some of our larger items ship
freight), discounts for volume sales, email notification
of supplier so even if an order comes in overnight the
supplier knows about it at the start of the next business
day, and more!
|
| How
long did it take to set up your store?
We got the information (CD's with images,
Excel sheets with product
information) from our supplier. Our designer started setting
up the shop.
The site went live in less than four days and the funny
part is, we actually took in our first sale while we were
still tweaking the site design!

|
| How
did you get on with setting up your site?
Once we decided on a design, the site
was up in a matter of hours. Then we tweaked the layout
here and there. Next we started looking at how to modify
the site to include tracking information in the shipment
confirmation emails, etc. |
| What
has been the biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge has been scaling
the business. In two years we have had rave reviews from
customers and suppliers alike. We are converting a high
percentage of visitors into customers so we just need
to keep getting the word out about Buck A Ball.com.
|
| How
are sales / projected sales going?
We launched in June of 2005. We averaged
about $1,000 a month in sales until the holiday shopping
season hit. Since then we have been averaging about 20
times that a month.
