Hi, One of my clients would like to begin using stock management.
- We would need to do stock management by options.
- We want to start off setting stock at 2 for every item currently in the cart.
What is the best and fastest way to set this up so nothing shows as out of stock while we're adding this feature to the cart? We're using version 6.2.1 PHP.
Thanks, Deborah |

Hi Andy, When I change the setting over to stock management, does that make all current products unavailable until I set the stock for each through the options? Thanks, Deborah |

Hi Deborah If they all have zero stock that would be the case. But using the "Quick Entry" option on the admin products page can allow you to set a positive stock level very quickly. Or, if you turn on stock management for a moment you will then have access to the "Stock Intentory" on the admin products page. You can then turn stock management off again and set the stock levels in that file and upload it with the stock levels when ready.

Hi Vince, That won't work since we'll be doing stock by options, not products. Any way to do that without having items unavailable for purchase while we're switching over? Deborah |
