Hi, This has not come up very often, but I really need to change it. If we have a customer place their first order and add special instructions, then select the "Remember Me" option, if they come back and place another order, the cookie populates the order form and includes the special instructions which have nothing to do with the new order. In fact, we often add special instructions in the admin panel for order fulfillment, and that also gets populated to the second order. Not good!
How do I stop the cookie from pulling the special instructions from the admin panel and populating that information in a returning customers order form?
Thanks so much! Janell |

Hi dbdave, I agree an additional space for comments is needed, but the Special Instructions should never be written to the cookie, it makes no sense that they would be the same from order to order. I really want to know how to delete that part of the code in the cookie (and where is that cookie?) Thanks, Janell |

I see. I like to see a fix from ect rather than a mod that will have to be redone each update.
Oh, and an extra field was added to the cart in the most recent update. We have begun inserting notes that we do not need/want to share with the customer. That has helped a little.

Hi David:
Where is that? I can't see it in the parameters and don't see it on my orders page . . . . Just updated today.

Hi, when viewing an order right under the big area that you can enter status notes, is a new equal size window the shows "private order status".
