Hi, I've set up product options with multiple sizes/prices. Is there a way to display the range of prices on the products page?
For example: 16 oz. - $11.50 2 lbs. - $22.00
I want to display on the products page $11.50 - $22.00.
Thanks! |

How about this....
Instead of the options showing a price/weight difference based on the base price, is there a way that the prices/weights you set for the options can be actual and not show "+$5.00" in the drop down?
Thanks, |

Hi Andy....I already added that line to my file. Maybe this will better illustrate what I'm trying to do.
Product Detail Page: http://garlicfestival.com/detail.php?prodid=GS-GA25
Where it shows the price range for all the options and includes the actual price on the option itself.
Category Page: http://garlicfestival.com/summary.php?subcategory=Garli%20Garni
Again, shows the price range of the options so the customer has an idea of pricing before clicking through.
Thanks again! |

I see this topic has been kicking around since 2010. Has there been any improvements or options added to display a price range on the page for options.
Item X
$1.49 to $1.89
This would really help to compete with the current carts that are out there. |

Don't know if this will help as an idea but I have a somewhat similar situation.
For example, product with select color option, and select size option but based on the option the price changes. The price that shows up for the product is the lowest price so just saying "Price" to me is bad when the customer clicks on an option for purchase and the price changes - goes up.
So for now here is how I am handling it: In the language file I found the "Price" tag and changed it to "Base Price - Varies with Options" and copied it to my includes.asp file.
So now my product price says: Base Price - Varies with Options
I may change the text to something else if I can think of anything better but I can live with this for now....

Hi Emily, this is a good "temporary" half fix until the acual option prices can be displayed next to each item and a price range can be displayed.
Unfortunately, having Base Price - Varies by Option would also display on informational type pages too... which is a who other issue that I should also post separately. i.e. not having Price or any other text displaying on informational pages only.
I'm hoping the posting under Suggestions will initiate this fix to get on to the next releases. |
