This means you can choose your own unique content for the meta tags and titles on pages like affiliate.php, cart.php, search.php whilst also allowing for unique and relevant descriptions and titles on dynamic store pages like categories.php, products.php and proddetail.php. http://www.ecommercetemplates.com/wordpress/wp-plugins.asp#ectseo If for some reason you prefer not to use the ECT SEO plugin but want to control the title and meta description tags via the store admin you can do that by setting up a second header.php file and using the following <title><?php print $GLOBALS['pagetitle'];?></title> <meta name="Description" content="<?php print str_replace('"','"',$GLOBALS['productdescription'])?>"> Andy Please review our software and services

As well as all products and products from a specific category, you can now choose to show "Recommended Products" - those that have been checked in the product admin. Products that are out of stock or marked not to display will not appear in the carousel. ')?> with <?php echo do_shortcode('[ect_seo]')?> New Features If you set the Page Title and Description in the store admin that will show on your pages (if not set it will use the original dynamic system). Products.php and categories.php will have titles and meta description tags set independently from the dynamic versions You can now set the order of the elements in the title tag. You can now use your own view and buy images and upload those via the plugin admin. You can also choose to show the buttons as static (always visible) or on mouseover. This plugin will allow you to simply add your category and store pages to Wordpress generated menus. The ECT Easy Nav plugin will list all your store categories and sub-categories under Menus > Appearance in the Worpress admin. You then just need to check which categories you want adding to the menu and then drag them to the position in which they should appear.
