All of the products pages last some of their css after a recent update. Also, the title of all of the store pages has a 404 Not Found in the tab.

http://www.longcreekherbs.com/products.php?cat=20

The above link is to one of the product pages. The background is not loading making all of the text impossible to read. Any ideas what is going on?

Hi Mark

It seems the links to the css files that were used have gone, do you have an original so you can put those back?

Where would the links be? In what file?

They were probably in header.php and would have been like

<link href="/css/ectcart.css" rel="stylesheet">
<link href="/css/style.css" rel="stylesheet">

Perfect. So now I am stumped why there is a 404 Not Found in the browser tab even though the store pages load. Can you point me in the right direction?

Could it be you were using the ECT SEO plugin https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/wordpress/wp-plugins.asp#ectseo

Make sure you have this in header.php where the title tag shows

<?php echo do_shortcode('[ect_seo]')?>

So it doesn't happen again, I would set up a new header.php file as per my post here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=109294

I've got big problems. My client called and although most of the things work in Chrome, they do not work in Firefox or Safari. If you go tho this page in Chrome, it looks great. http://www.longcreekherbs.com/products.php?cat=7 If you use Firefox or Safari, it's messed up.

Hi Mark

You have two css files with conflicting css files / classes, style.css and ectstyle.css - it may well be you don't need style.css, just ectstyle.css so try removing style.css first.

I am terribly confused. I removed the style.css from header.php and it somewhat fixed things. However, what has me confused the most is, the text for the product descriptions in Chrome are black and not contrasting to the background image, while in Firefox, the the background image is missing and the product descriptions are white and thus not contrasting. Why would the different browsers interpret css differently?

Chrome is much more aggressive at caching, force a refresh there - Ctrl + Refresh, and it will show the same as Firefox.

I deleted the cache in Chrome and now the pages look as bad as they do in the other browsers. Could I pay you to fix this for me?

It seems it's just missing a background image but I don't know where you had that set - do you remember?

I'm using the Divi theme and it was set in there and still appears in all of the regular pages. You helped me last time with this and I cannot remember. Should I add the path in the ectstyle.css possibly?

It could be you are linking to the wrong ectstyle.css file, do you have copies of that file at different locations on the server?

I had a backup, and have uploaded it to the server, but still no background on all of the store pages.
