I just received the following email and follow up phone discussion:

"I tried several times to "add" to cart and checkout &/or make purchase . Problem with input forms,but your the entry fields in your create account or purchase forms are corrupted. I could see several other peoples data and billing info , like a -------- from BC......"

I cannot access the client logins nor see who has logged in recently. I've been using 100mc Client CSV Data Utility for years sent an email to them to delete it from the site. I'm wondering if this is a compatibility issue with the 7.0.2 Ecommerce Plus PHP version or something else. Please advise on how to deal with this one.....

Additional info: I tried setting up an account and received the following error message after submitting and an indication of success:
"'clientNotes' doesn't have a default valueSUCCESS"

Also, I cannot access the client accounts. How do I 'revert' to eCommerce defaults and remove the 100mc Client CSV Data Utility without creating a train wreck?

Hi

If possible I would remove that Mod and then run the updater again after it has been removed. Have they got back to you yet on the best way to get rid of it? I'm assuming there's no uninstall file or information in the readme.txt file about uninstalling.

Hi Andy,
He did and said to remove the client admin redirects in the .htaccess file. It did not work. I am awaiting response on how to uninstall.

I received and followed removal instructions. I ran the updatestore.php with success. Should I reinstall of the files in the latest update?

In Firefox, .../vsadmin/adminclientlog.php still redirects to .../vsadmin/100mc-client-cdu-admin.php I haven't figured out how to clear individual history, yet....

It opens in Safari and client logins are missing since 12/30/18. I've logged in in the past two days as a test with no evidence in the clientadmin. Also, I now new accounts have been established in that time frame.

I would now upload the updater files to reinstall them and hopefully that will sort it out.

(FTR Daniel Ewers of 100 Mkts has been very responsive. Thanks as well.)

I reinstalled and updated the store.

Per Daniel:

"Firefox can be a pain when it comes to clearing cached redirects. Per a google search, it is recommended to do the following:

Close all open/active tabs
Open your browser settings and go to History > Show complete history
Search for the page you want to delete the HSTS settings for and right-click on it
Select Forget About This Site to get rid of the HSTS cached settings.

Notice that doing this will also remove everything saved locally in your browser including cookies, saved passwords etc. for that domain."

I can now login to the clientadmin.

I retested a login and it still does not show up. I installed the 7.0.2 update around mid December and after that, the client login and admin issues started occurring. How else can I test the client login if this persists?

EDIT: I just tried creating a new account and received the following error again:
"'clientNotes' doesn't have a default valueSUCCESS"

Servelink suggested a WP plugin cache issue?

Apparently, I was able to create an account and received notification to that effect, but:

-it is not in the client admin
- I cannot login
-when I request password, the following error message is shown:
"Sorry. We could not find that email address in our system."

Can you go into the store admin and under Admin Database Utility select Optimize database and see if that clears it for you?

Thanks! Things appear to be back to normal. I could set up an account, log out and log back in. Also, I now see the login for the new account.

FTR, Daniel suggested:

"Via phpmyadmin, the clientNotes field in the customerlogin table in the database will need modified to allow a NULL value or will need to be dropped if no longer needed/used."

I changed it to 'NULL' and did optimize the database.

What happened to the 2 1/2 weeks of activity?

If you have phpmyadmin you could check to see if any accounts were created in that time.

There were at least 8 between 12/30 and today that do not show up in the database.

While recreating and testing client accounts, I noticed that under Order Management, some accounts show a Tracking column with a tracking number, while others do not. Older accounts seem to have the column more consistently while none of the new accounts have the tracking column.

Why the inconsistency?

Tracking numbers are religiously added to each order. I just added one again to an order and it does not appear in the client account next to the order. The tracking column is also missing in the accounts. Recent shipments aren't showing the tracking numbers in the account. When I can, I'll drill deeper, but they simply aren't being 'attached' to the orders.

EDIT: For one long time and regular customer the tracking number appears from 2011 to 2/17. 5 orders since starting 10/17 do not show tracking numbers.

EDIT2: so far I have found tracking thru 9/17 but not afterwards for the orders and clients I've investigated.

(As an aside, I'm wishing the Orders List had an indicator whether or not the customer has an account.)

The is a great idea, so much so, that we modded our admin to show that, with a link to open the client account. We also added a feature to show past orders from clients. I think I had made a post in the suggestions forum, I will see if I can find it.

I've tested here and the tracking number does show correctly in the order management screen in 7.0.2 so maybe it is related to the Mod you were using and removed.

But, why would it affect shipments since removing the mod?

I really don't know why that should happen, I've tested here and there don't appear to be any issues with the feature and we haven't heard reports elsewhere.

As one check, on the Order Details page, is the Tracking Number supposed to remain visible in the Shipping/Tracking field after the order status is updated?
