I have literally thousands of yahoo emails in my mailing list e.g. 12345@yahoo.com (12345=any 5 numbers).
These are not customers.
Is there an easy way to bulk delete them, rather than having to delete them one at a time.
Thanks, Lyn

Hi Lyn
If these are not legitimate signups then they wouldn't be confirmed email addresses, no? If that is the case, from the "Action..." menu just choose, "Remove Old Unconfirmed" and they will all be deleted. I think "old" is over 30 days without having been confirmed.

Hi Vince
None of the email addresses are confirmed and I can't see a way to do that.
"Action" menu does not give "Choose Old Unconfirmed" as an option.
Thanks, Lyn

Hi Lyn
So were these recently added? You will only get the "Delete Old unconfirmed" action when there are old, unconfirmed emails.
If you list the emails there should be 3 columns . . . Modify, Delete and Confirm and you should only get a Confirm button if the email is unconfirmed. But you don't want to confirm these anyway.

Do you have the parameter...
$noconfirmationemail=TRUE;
...in your includes.php file?

No, Vince.
There are approx 12000 of these email addresses.
It will take forever if I have to delete them one at a time.
Thanks, Lyn

Hi Lyn
I'm trying to figure how these are confirmed email addresses. Do you have the $noconfirmationemail parameter set? If so it's a really bad idea as, as you can see, anyone can sign up with a fake email.

No Vince. I do not have the $noconfirmationemail parameter set.

OK, so the normal flow of things would be that these emails would never be confirmed and you could then just delete the lot with one click. Can you send me the site FTP login to my email (vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com) and I'll have a look to see what's up and if necessary, sort out some kind of bulk delete.

Hi Lyn
The login you sent me is the store admin login rather than the FTP login so I can't investigate how these emails got to be confirmed. But I've added the Delete action to the Quick Entry on the mailing list admin page anyway and I've added the changes to the updater. I see you are on the v7.0 Stability Line and I can only add this to the v7.1 line but just get the v7.1 updater and copy the vsadmin/inc/incmailinglist.php script to your site as this will work on both versions.

Hi Vince,
Is it possible to add the same delete function that you added to the mailing list to the admin discounts list?
Thanks, Lyn
