I've just had my first order which contains an item that is on back order, so part of the order will be shipped today and part when the pack order item comes into stock.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to print a packing slip that shows only the items that are in the package?

Obviously all of the items that have been paid for will be on the invoice, but the point of a packing slip it to show which items the customer actually receiving in that specific package, is it not?

Not sure what cart version you are on, but you can now send split shipments with a custom email

I'm on Version v7.7.5

I tried using the 'order lines' option. I selected the items to be packed and the clicked to create a packing slip, but it is putting all the items from the whole order on there, not just the ones selected?

Any thoughts on this anyone? I've still not figured it out.

Sorry for not answering but the thing is it isn't actually possible at the moment I'm afraid. I do see the problem so I'll see if we can get something sorted out next week. But the information that it is a back order line isn't actually in the cart so it's not a simple change.
