There is a new feature allowing you to specify "Placeholder" text for text product options. Placeholder text is the text that appears in grey in a text input field until the user enters a character and this can be used to further explain the option along with option Tooltips.

There are many more improvements for image manipulation including with the Magic Toolbox features and when products are using options or not.

Product categories / sections and additional sections have been added to the Quick Update feature in the Admin Products page.

An error in the ASP version could cause emails sent via the mailing list feature to be blank when using the CK HTML Editor and this has now been fixed.

The "Customer Also Bought" cross selling algorithm has been improved and made more efficient.

Some formatting issues have been resolved with the shipping logos and there is now a default shipping logo for use with weight and price based shipping if required.

There is a fix for a pagination issue with Manufacturers pages where the link to the pages other than the first page could be displayed incorrectly.

There is a fix for a pagination issue on the Search page where any Product Filters selected would not be used on the second and subsequent pages.

There is a new item, "detaillink", that can be added to the productpagelayout / $productpagelayout parameter to specify the Product Detail Link. The product detail link by default will be displayed as a link, but by setting the parameter "imgdetaillink" to the path of an image will display as an image. If you set the parameter imgdetaillink="button" / $imgdetaillink="button"; then an HTML button will be generated.

A problem has been resolved where the gift certificate message could not be filled in in the cart page.

There is a small feature update where when deleting a product option that is in use, you are now presented with a list of clickable buttons to take you to the products that are using the option.

A problem has been resolved where the customer on checkout could be asked to fill in all shipping address details even though no shipping address has been set.

When using the shipping calculation feature in the admin orders page

Depending on the character set specified the currency symbols in the cart for the SagePay payment processor could appear garbled and the response from SagePay is not to use currency symbols. The currency symbols in the rest of the SagePay checkout process are correct.

In the admin orders page when using the shipping calculation feature an error has been fixed where at times the state would not be specified. This could cause services like weight and price based shipping to return no rates. The formatting has also been restored to rates returned.

A minor formatting issue has been fixed in the PHP version dashboard where the font size of some of the order totals was different.

A hotfix has been released today to fix an issue caused by recent changes to the USPS Api where Priority and Express services will not be returned when using Flat Rate Boxes.

The admin orders page could, in some circumstances, calculate the product option price difference incorrectly where the option was subject to wholesale price differences.

The parameter "noweekendshipment" now works for FedEx shipments so that packages will not be rated as if they were shipped on a weekend.

There is a new parameter for the search page where...
searchfiltergroups="1,2,3"
$searchfiltergroups="1,2,3";
...which you can set so that only the product filter groups whose ID's are in the list will be presented on the search page as search filters.

The product page would not show the product ID when displaying the list of Related Products and that has been corrected now.
