Notice in the Product Filter Bar the option to Display:

> Grid (multi-column grid, no short description)
> List (rows, no photo, no rating, prints short description)
> Details (rows, photo, ratings, most comprehensive product summary)

So under STORE ADMIN >> Main Settings, my suggestion is to add "Display Grid, List, Details" to the Product Filter Bar configuration options

Yes, you will see that on various other Ecommerce websites. And yes, I expect additional CSS class names would be required. And yes, you can Google Search to find numerous "CSS Style Switch" javascript or jquery downloads.

But I am sure the Ecommerce Templates team can come up with a superior integration.
