I only want free shipping to the United States.
How can I modify this to make sure international shipments do not get free shipping?
Thanks

Hi

When you set up your free shipping discount, make sure you choose "Restrict to certain countries" in the admin discounts page and then only check the FSA box (Free Shipping Applies) in the admin countries page for USA.

I have FSA shown on the United States in the Shipping Admin page.
All other are blank.
I didn't find the "Restrict to certain countries" as you described.

That's at the bottom of the admin discounts page, a drop down labelled "Restrict to certain countries".

Okay...... I am the problem here.
I never set up a shipping discount to reflect free.
Is the a proper procedure for this outlined in the tutorial?
I did find the box you are talking about.
Thanks

You would need to set up a free shipping discount - the tutorial is here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/shipping.asp#free

Andy,
I have that all entered. I assume somewhere I have to enter the weight of the article. Is this on the products option page?
I tried to enter a sale and it still is not charging for international shipping.
Thanks

Hi Mark, weights are entered on the product admin screen you can use the Quick Entry drop down on the left of that screen to enter weights for multiple products. If there is additional weight for a product with options then you would enter the additional weight in the product options.

Hi the weight type is set under Admin > main setting check there to see what is set it will either be pounds LBS or kgs. We have a table here to show how to input the weight https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/shipping.asp#weight
