I have often been curious if this matters. In the inc/languagefile_en.php file, text is this way
$GLOBALS['xx34code']='3 or 4 digit code from back of card';
But when I make changes in the includes.php file, I always do it this way
$xx34code="3 or 4 digit security code";
Simply question - does the format matter in the includes.php file?

Hi Marshall

It really doesn't matter, the only proviso is that Wordpress users will always need to use GLOBALS.

Thanks Andy. That was what I assumed.
