In case anyone is interested I received this in response to an enquiry I sent to Nominet a few days ago.

From 22nd May 2018 several changes will be made to existing rules and policies to ensure compliance with GDPR.

The .UK WHOIS will no longer display the registrant’s name or address details, unless they have given permission to do so – all other data shown in the current .UK WHOIS will remain the same.

That only used to be the case for registrants who were individuals registering a .uk domain name but this change will also apply to all types of registrant.
