Maybe watch this Video which demonstrates how you can insert an image directly into the body of a webpage using CK Editor.

Right, well I just thought maybe there was something there.
I suppose you could check with the ck editor folks to see if they know what that error means.
I never used that feature of the ck editor. I think it's great for simple edits, but the more intensive features seem to have problems. Hence that long thread and several others here jumping through hoops to try to make things work.
I am guessing maybe it's permission issues.
Or perhaps it requires a module on the server that your host does not have, such as aspupload.

Personally, I use FTP to upload images and then use html to call them up.
I also quit using the ck editor recently. I got tired of excessive span and p tags wrapped around more span and p tags wrapped around more span and p tags.

Example of what the ckeditor will do for you.
<p><span>This</span>& n b s p ;<span>is</span>& n b s p ;<span>some</span>& n b s p ;<span>text</span></p>

Hi Paul

The image upload for ckeditor does require the host to have ASPupload available, can you check with your host to see if that is installed on your server?

Andy
