I'm trying to clean up my site a bit and changed my product page to include the Quick Buy and Detail links. I think I've got them all formatted correctly now, but when I click the Quick Buy button and the pop=up window opens, it doesn't include the product 'description'.

This is the line I have in my includes file:

$GLOBALS['quickbuylayout']='productimage, productname, productid, discounts, reviewstars, description, options, price, addtocart, detaillink';

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

You have this in ECT.css which turns off the description

div.proddescription{ display:none;

I thought that line was to turn off the description on the product page.

Anyway, I removed that line and saved the ect.css, but it still doesn't show a description in the Quick Buy pop-up window.

Do you have short description content for your products?

Oh well, then that's why it isn't showing. I quit using the short description a few years ago because I was streamlining the product page and it seemed repetitive to enter it when I wasn't displaying it. Maybe I'll rethink it for new products as I add them.

Thanks for helping anyway. I can go worry with something else instead... lol!

As it is "quick buy" you probably don't need the description there anyway.
