they are, what I did to fix, ( i should've thought of this sooner) was to place a copy of the directory into the ssl and have the subdomian point to that, so now the site goes to the secured area

Now my problem is when you select a item it goes to the cart BUT when you hit check out the cart does not stay on the HTTPS and it goes the non-ssl side and I get a privacy error from chrome

try for yourself kmcdirect.kissmecomix.com

Why do you even have a "non-ssl side"? In 2018, best practice is to have all of the site running securely in https:// and while there *might* be reasons not to do that right away on an existing site, here it looks like you are rebuilding so it's a great time to make that change

Yes, all of them. I know it wasn't your original question, but it would neatly skirt around your ssl/non-ssl issues and get you in a better place at the same time. Seems like a win.

Would you like to send me on your ftp and control panel details via email and I'll check what's going on?
