Hi,

We've just bought a brand new premium responisve design from you and I'm used to the old ones that have the inc folder with the header, footer, right news etc. These have now gone it seems.

My question is how do I edit, for example the top and bottom eg all the same information thats on every page, all at once now please?? I'm not using dreamweaver or frontpage so do I really have to change each one manually?????

Hi Trace

How are you editing the files, in a text editor?

There doesn't seem to be so much available for Mac users but this is an editor I've looked at in the past and might be worth checking out

Thanks Andy, Yes I tried it and it doesn't see/work with PHP pages it seems :(

I have an old version on windows of Frontpage 2003 but that wont open the site as it doesn't see the php pages either.

I'll have to try and see if I can get dreamweaver to see it. I thought I would just hand code with my very limited experience but with these news one I dont really have that option do I?

I do have windows 10 - what would you recommend to use please???

If you have Windows I would try downloading Expression Web which is free https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36179 and the you can use the global template feature https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/using-expression-web.asp

Dreamweaver is ideal if you can get a copy

Thanks Andy. I'm now using Dreamweaver and it actually works, well I can edit stuff now. The dynamic things dont show in the design view but at least I can edit the dwt and make other edits far easier than coding it, upload and check it
