Hi, we currently use DW CS3 and am starting to experience issues with CS3. We're considering
switching over to Cofeecup which they say is similar. I have a couple questions though.

1-will our current E-template work with Coffeecup if we uninstall DWCS3?
2- with CS3 we can use the template to update multi pages, can we do that with CofffeCup?

thanks for any advice...

Hi

I don't think CoffeeCup uses a dwt file for making global changes. You can check that with their support but last time I looked I believe that was the case.

To be honest I always use Dreamweaver but I know some people prefer to put global elements into include files and just update those. I would try to get Dreamweaver going again.

What version of DW do you use? mine is pretty old, CS3, but it works to do what I need. Otherwise
I looked into using DW Cloud but its really expensive.

I checked CoffeeCup's Forum and they have something called a Library function for making global
changes, I guess I could buy it for 49.00 and see if it works. In the meantime see if i can also get
DW working again

CS3 should be fine. I use CS5.
