Pre-sales questions only

Hi! I am currently running a 25% off sale, which brings the price of a $60 product down to $45. I have free shipping that is supposed to kick in at $50. However, people ordering my discounted $60 product are still getting free shipping because shipping is calculated before the discount instead of after. Is there a way to change this? I've tried setting the parameter "Apply discounts after shipping costs" $shippingafterproductdiscounts=TRUE; as both true and false, and they seem to do the same thing -- there's no apparent change in how shipping is or isn't calculated. Thank you!

(Also, not sure why this is showing up as "pre-sales questions only" -- I just renewed my updater subscription, using the same email address as in the forum.)

Hi Jan
Sorry about the pre-sales message but sometimes it just takes the forum a bit of time to catch up with the main database. All set now.
I tried your example and didn't seem to have a problem at all. The parameter would need to be set to true as...
$shippingafterproductdiscounts=TRUE;
Can you check firstly that you don't have that set twice in the includes.php file. Also, to see what the shipping discount is, are you viewing it on the last checkout page?

Ah, I did have it in there twice! Yikes Wish I had a way in Dreamweaver to easily detect duplicate terms in a file -- that seems to happen more often than not! Thank you!

A helpful tip...

Notepad ++ is great for working with pages in many ways. It's not going to manage your DWT files, but when you click a word, or variable, it will highlight every other instance of that word in the page.

That's exactly what I do Dave.
