Hi Ian
I've edited your post as you probably don't want to disclose your website locations, but is it possible that somehow in the update you deleted the file? Have you got a backup copy if so? Or does your host? Or did you maybe upload an edited copy of the vsadmin/db_conn_open.asp file with a different db location?

Hi Ian
I think we posted at the same time and you may have missed mine. You really don't want to keep posting the location of your db, just to be on the safe side.

Hi Ian, if you took a backup prior to updating can you try restoring 1 file vsadmin/db_conn_open.asp

I think what probably happened is that you have a different local copy of the db_conn_open.asp file which has the database location in it, and you uploaded that when you updated. I see you are up again after the backup but if you like, send the site FTP login details to vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com and I'll do the update for you.

Hi Ian
Sorry about the problems you had but it's all working now. A value in the database that should have been there but wasn't, but I've modified the updatestore script to add it in case anyone else has the same problem in the future.

Hi Ian
The country for the Canary Islands would be Spain and I guess they use for instance, Tenerife - Spain as the postal address. Is there a reason you need it separately?

yes the postage to the islands is nearly 2 times more for spain to Tenerife

ebay and others will not post there due to the added cost and time

Hi Ian
How about then going to the Admin Countries page and click on "Modify" for a couple of the countries that you don't have enabled and change the country name and postal zone for your needs. Would that work for you?
