One of my sites is having the following error on the cart page:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2097152 bytes) in /home/username/public_html/vsadmin/inc/inccart.php on line 4708

There has been a critical error on your website.

I just upgraded the site to PHP version 7.2 and WordPress 5.3

**EDIT** If I downgrade to PHP 7.1 - the error goes away. Is this something I need my hosting company to fix?

That seems to be a memory limit of 40mb which seems very small indeed. Can you configure the settings for each PHP version in your hosting control panel? If so have a look to see if there is a settings for the memory limit. Otherwise try your host I would say.
