Creative with Cross Selling

I've never set up "related" products due to the effort, but I'm thinking with the time on my hands with the "shelter in place" order, now is the time. My product detail page currently shows "best sellers". I want to show "related" but am realizing it will take some time to set it all up. Is there a way to show "best sellers" when there are no "related" products, but "related" products where there are related products set up? Bill
