Whenever I click on the "calculate" button for the shipping in the "Edit Order Details" page, the popup box comes up with the correct customers zip code, but the "state" keeps defaulting to first state listed & not the customers state.

I just updated to version 7.2.2 yesterday.

Any suggestions or ideas as to what is causing this?

Kathleen

Hi Kathleen
I can't recreate this here so can you let me know which shipping services you are using and also, is this a US store with a US address? Finally, if using weight / price based shipping are you splitting the shipping zones by state?

I'm in the US, my customer is in the US, & I use Price Based Shipping.

It's been working fine until I did the update yesterday.

For some reason, it populates the customers zip code but not the customer's state. The state is defaulting to the first state in the drop down list.

Is there anything in particular that may be causing it that I can check on my end?

I just noticed in some of the customers addresses the name of the state is populating as the full spelling and not the abbreviations.

Could this be causing the problem?

Hi Kathleen
I got the problem and it was to do with state abbreviations not being accounted for. The fix is in the v7.2 updater in the file...

Thanks for your help in sorting this out!

So, what do I need to do to correct it?

Hi Kathleen
Sorry that wasn't clear but just get a new copy of the updater and copy the file...
vsadmin/shipservice.php
...to your site and that should sort this out.
