I've got a site I just converted to ECT from Open Cart. I thought I had my first order today, but shows as "unauthorized". I wanted to send the customer an "abandoned cart" email, but when I go to the orders page and select "abandoned carts" on the Order Admin page, nothing shows.

Is there a difference between unauthorized orders and abandoned carts?

Bill

Hi Bill, unauthorized orders and abandoned carts are really one in the same.
Is this unauthorized order showing in red on the orders page?
I just tested this (on my cart) and without setting a date range, today's unauthorized orders show as available to send an email to when I select abandoned carts on the drop down.

Here are some details on the feature https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/taking_orders.asp#orders7

Thanks,
David

Ah... I added a date range and low and behold, the cart worked exactly as it should.

Once again, user error. :-)

Thanks for the help!

No worries Bill. I'm glad I could help in some way.

Thanks,
