We had 9 orders placed that all have the same web number for (3) different customers using (3) different credit cards. All of these orders were entered on the same day within minutes apart from each other. in each order Authorize.net declined the transaction.

How is it possible for multiple orders to have the same order number?

Hi Kevin
So these appear separately in the ECT admin orders page but with the same order ID? That shouldn't be possible, no. Or do you mean these are appearing in the Auth.net admin with the same order ID?

The orders are no longer on the website, only Auth.net

In the last two days she has two orders with the same Order Number. Different names on the Billing address. Is it possible for a customer to login and change orders that have already been placed?

The first order on 9/13/2020 web order #1288 for Danny Rogers is not on the website.
The next order is on 9/14/2020 web order #1289
The next order on 9/15/2020,web order #1288 for Stephen Elliott is in the website.

Is it possible for Danny/Stephen to login as a customer and change order 1288?

Another thing I forgot to ask, is this Auth.net AIM or the SIM / Accept Hosted? And do things normally work smoothly?

Auth.ne is AIM

Also, she just wrote:
Kevin, I’ve spoken to customer “Stephen Elliott” and he told me his credit card info had been stolen.
The order placed on 9/15/2020 under Web# 1288 was not his doing.
His credit card company have cancelled out that credit card used and in the process of issuing him a new card.
The customer info that printed on Web# 1288 was fraudulent. He have a different phone#, email address and physical address listed below.

Hi Kevin
So does it sound like this Danny Rogers is also fraudulent? It sounds like they have a few cards and were maybe trying them out and using the back button between the transactions which is why they come with the same order id.

There was another duplicate order placed 9/13/2020. The two orders are at:

https://floridasbestfruit.com/working/200929_DuplicateOrders/1288_Stephen_Elliott.pdf

On 9/22/2020 I updated the software from version 6.3 to version 7.2.3 hoping if there's a software but the update will fix it. What do you think caused the duplicate order numbers?

The Danny Rogers order was unauthorized and was likely the same person who placed the fraud order as the email addresses are the same.

We're finding the same email address on orders from 1999.

Hi Kevin
Yes, it does just look like someone trying stolen cards, and as it's a repeat offender they are using the same email address. Auth.net is just displaying the information about the attempt and the fact that the card was declined.
