How do I enable the product attributes filter to appear on the left navigation?

I'm guessing you mean the side filter bar, correct? If so then this should help you out. The original side filter bar is below

I downloaded the https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/downloads.asp#php3sidefilter2

The instructions on this link https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/product-filter-bar.asp#sidefilter2

This states that I would need to ftp " incsidefilter2.php to your vsadmin/inc folder"

But the download https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/downloads.asp#php3sidefilter2 only has a file name incsidefilter.php not incsidefilter2.php, am i missing something here.

Hi Jason

As of July 2020 the original side filter bar no longer exists https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=113062 and there is now only what was known as the Side Filter Bar 2. That is now known as the Side Filter Bar. Upload the incsidefilter.php file & I think that will be all you need to do.

If I'm incorrect I'm sure someone will correct me. I don't think you are missing anything, maybe those instructions need amending.

Sorry for the confusion but you are correct and the instructions are out of date and the Side Filter 2 is now the standard and only Side Filter (so it's just called the Side Filter) and is included as standard in the core cart and updater. I've modified the instructions to reflect this and removed the Side Filters from the downloads page.
