In admin sometimes the referer isn't displayed.

Just curious but under what circumstances would the referer not be known?

Hi Steve,
You will have noticed that latest release web browsers give the user an option to block some or all website cookies. That would be one possible reason.

Hi Steve, another possibility is that they hit the site from a bookmark, or by entering the url in the address bar.
