Everything seemed to be going well until I decided to try to add a product to cart. When I did this the button highlights as if it s working but it doesn't add the product to the cart. I have tried on different products and it doesn't work on any of them. What could be happening?

Thank you!

Hi Skysadlo1
The cart relies on the ectcart.css and ectcart.js files now which are included in the updater, but you have to add a reference to these in all your site pages. There are more details here...

THANK YOU! That fixed that! Now I have another problem. I added a test product, to confirm stripe is working correctly. I see the test product and all looks good but I can't open it up to get to the add to cart button? It looks like it is set-up just like all the rest of my products. What am I missing?

Thanks again!

Hi again
I just tried to checkout on your site and the site is trying to checkout on the URL sadlofineart.com and not whispimages.com, and you get a page not found as that site doesn't have a cart.php page. This would indicate that the Store URL is set to adlofineart. Should that really be the whispimages.com URL? This is on the admin main settings page.

You are correct it should be whispimages.com I have made that change.
But I'm still having the problem when trying to add the test product to the cart and check out.
It will not allow me to even add it to the cart. It will allow me to add normal products no problem.
Search for test and try to add the product to the cart. Thank you for your help with this!!!!

You need to have a long description for the product detail page to appear, without it you'll be stuck on a page that you have configured not to have buy buttons.

Yes, it's kind of a feature that the details page is only displayed if you have something extra to show like a large image or long description. But you can force it to display always if you have this link in your includes.php file...

Thank you! That gave the ability to add the product to the cart. Now, it will not let me "check-out" When I click the button the page flickers and stays the same. Any ideas?

THANK you!

Hi again
You have the whole site forced on to SSL (which is good), but I believe in the admin main settings page, the Store URL SSL will be HTTP and not HTTPS. This means the cart tries to check out on http for the customer details page, but is then thrown back to the first checkout page again when the switch to HTTPS is made. Anyway, the simple fix is just to make both Store URL's the HTTPS version of the URL.
