Hello
I wonder if I need to update my ECT software purchased last month?
I cannot see where to find out what is the present version.

I believe the manual has an article of how to update.

Hi John,

If you look in the top left of your main admin page under the store admin link you should see the version number you currently have installed.

Just along from that in the top right the last circular arrow icon links to the updaters download page where you can get the latest version.

On the top right I see A new recommend version is available V7.1.11
On the Bottom Left I see Ecommerce Plus PHP v7.1.10

Is this worth updating?

This is were the changes are logged and the last one Vince posted regarding v7.1.11 is here:

If you feel there are some changes in there that could be of benefit to you then you could always update.
