So, mask sales are winding down, and I'd like to have a sale. Because shipping is included in my price, I don't really want to discount it if only one mask is ordered (shipping on 1-4 is about the same), but would like to discount multiples. So, one is $10, no discount; after that, I would like them to each be $7.50 (including the first), making two $15, three $22.50, etc.

Masks are the category. Different prints are products. I would like people to be able to mix and match prints. This would all be easy if it were all a single product, but I can't figure out how to do this on a category basis. I'd love to do it like this:

5-8 $7.00
9-12 $6.50

Is there any way to do that with the discount feature? If not, is there a mod, or the possibility of this in an update? (Still hoping for conditional discounts sometime, btw.)

Using ECT 7.2.5 for php

You can go with a percentage discount assigned to a category.
This would allow for a mix and match scenario.

I would say create a discount in the admin discounts page.
Coupon / Discount Effect: Percentage discount
Discount Text: 25% off two or more
Min Quantity: 2
Max Quantity: 5
Discount Amount: 25
Scope: Assign to cat's for discount on category totals

Then another...
Coupon / Discount Effect: Percentage discount
Discount Text: 30% off five or more
Min Quantity: 5
Max Quantity: 9
Discount Amount: 30
Scope: Assign to cat's for discount on category totals

Then another...
Coupon / Discount Effect: Percentage discount
Discount Text: 35% off nine or more
Min Quantity: 9
Max Quantity: *blank*
Discount Amount: 35
Scope: Assign to cat's for discount on category totals

Then on the categories admin page assign these discounts to your masks category.
