I would like to have access to ECT php version on a different PC.

I am using Dreamweaver cs6 but do not have access to this on the other machine.

Would this be possible ?
How would I go about this please?

Thanks
John

Hi, I believe you're on the hosted version, no?
If so, I don't think you need to use dreamweaver at all.
You handle the design of the site via the admin.
Are you saying you cannot log into the admin from a different computer?

Thanks,
David

Hi David,
I have a Dreamweaver version also and I am trying the hosted version for another project.

As you may have seen the hosted version is not going very well at the moment.

Regards

John

Ok, I see.
I suppose you want to make edits on another PC and the problem is you do not have but one license for Dreamweaver? Is that it?
If that's the case, I suppose you would just get another copy of dreamweaver.

My personal advise is to make edits from one PC only. If you go to another computer and make changes, you might actually overwrite changes you uploaded from the other computer. That's unless you want to download a copy from the server to the "other" computer each time you make changes.

I mostly do my site design work from my home computer.
If I am at the office and need to make a site change, I used remote desktop to log into my home computer and make the changes.
Maybe a scenario like that is viable for you.

David
