Hi

My PayPal buyer is successfully completing their purchase and all orders are processed correctly by ECT and PayPal. However when returned to the shop thanks.php page, the buyer sees on the page:

"Sorry, there seemed to be an error !

" If you need any help with your purchase, then please be sure to contact us.

" No matching payment system"

"Continue Shopping"

How can I fix this?

Hi Mudmolder
There is at the moment a problem with PayPal payments where they have stopped returning one of the parameters that we used to detect that it was a PayPal payment. So we worked around this and put the change in the latest updater. If you get the latest updater then and copy the vsadmin/inc/incthanks.php script to the site it should sort this out.

Thanks so much for that, Vince.

(1)Deciding between Stability Release and Advanced Release. I'm not sure how to interpret 'heavily customised' after the recent upgrade by Marlene.
Don't want to select the wrong update.

(2) Re "copy the vsadmin/inc/incthanks.php script to the site". Does that mean only that file should be copied to my local folder and the server?
Not the rest of the update?

I would go for the stability release unless there is anything particularly in the advanced release that you want. The change is in the incthanks.php script and that's the only file you need but you can do a complete update if you like.

Many thanks, I will do that, however the updater is saying "Your update / support period has expired" so the upgrade is chargeable.

As I have just upgraded (February 10th) to the ResponsivePremium, is that correct?

Sorry about that and I've fixed the updaters page so you should get the updates along with the Responsive Design Upgrade service. I used your email to test so you should already have the updater link in your inbox.
