I have updated my site from php v6.8.4 to php v7.2.6. Now the "add to cart", "product details" , "quick buy", " checkout" buttons are not working. When click on them nothing happens.

Make sure you have the ectcart.css & the ectcart.js files referenced in the head of all site pages. If you have uploaded all the updater files then those two I mention should be in the css & the js folders.

The 6.8.4 version was released in Jan 2018 & there have been many many changes since then.

I've changed the email for your orders to the same as that for your forum profile so you don't show as pre-sales. If you want to change back just let me know but otherwise use this email for downloading updaters etc.

Regarding adding the ectcart.css and ectcart.js files as Steve mentioned, there are more details here...

Thank you Steve and Vince. It's working now, <script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script> was missing from cart pages.

However, I have a new issue. When you click on " Ask a question " from product detail page, I get a 403 error with the following message
" IT appears you don't have permission to access this page "

HTTP 403 Forbidden. That's most likely a host restriction, you'll need to get with them about that.

Hi Peter

I spent an hour with hostgator, they assure me all the permission are there, it is still not working. It was working fine before I upgraded.

Well, they are wrong . You are being denied access by the server, so mod_security, emailfriend.php on a blacklist of some sort, whatever, but it's a server issue. The update is probably just a coincidence, I'll bet you hadn't tried the ask a question functionality at all recently.
