The parameter optionnameaspleaseselect / $optionnameaspleaseselect has been extended to include text input options where the option text is removed and either a specific placeholder displayed for the option if set or the option name if there is not placeholder.
You can now click anywhere outside the soft cart, customer login and the quick buy areas to close the popup window.
When checking out, all checkout form elements that have not been filled in are given a red border with the use of the "ectwarning" class. This means that the customer sees at a glance exactly what needs to be completed in order to proceed with the checkout process.
The Product Option Tooltips have been overhauled making them more elegant and more configurable.
Redundant code has been removed from the Product Options which was causing validation problems.
There were a few different shades of gray being used in the shopping cart and these are all now using the slightly darker "gray" color which makes the cart elements stand out.
You can now use multiple ECT Sliders on one page just by giving each slider container a unique id, for instance...

Then specify that ID when starting your slider, for instance...

On mobile devices when using the forceinsuranceselection / $forceinsuranceselection parameter the text could cover the select menu and make it impossible to change, thereby making it difficult for the customer to check out. This has now been fixed.
An error has been fixed when using Google Analytics 4 and viewing a Gift Certificate or Donation product on the product detail page.
There have been many, many, many fixes and improvements in the ectcart style sheets and cart layout code.
