Sales Tax Based on Seller Location

Posted - 01/08/2022 : 06:12:46 Here in Texas the State Comptroller's office (people on the phone) says that Internet sales tax is based on the location of the seller not the receivers. I would like an option that would allow all in state sales to be taxed based on "our" zip code location. We have metro tax rates and rural tax rates that do have NOT transit tax. dbdave ECT Moderator USA 10269 Posts	Posted - 01/08/2022 : 06:22:16 The cart should be taxing the entire state of Texas based on the rate you set in the admin. It does not care where in Texas the order ships, the tax rate will always be what you have set for the state. David
