Hi Steve and Vince, I encountered this issue. Previously I used a Font Awesome Icon in the social media buttons for "Email Friend" and "Ask a Question". Steve, this has been done on your client's website. [maroon]includes.php[/maroon] entries:
$GLOBALS['xxEmFrnd']='#xf086;& nbsp; Recommend to Friend'; $GLOBALS['xxAskQue']='#xf059;& nbsp; Ask a Question';
But the email messages sent after upgrading to [blue]PHP v7.4.7[/blue] are plain text. Thus the raw code appears in the Subject line; very messy So I dumped the Font Awesome Icon idea and simply altered the [maroon]includes.php[/maroon] entries:
$GLOBALS['xxEmFrnd']='Recommend to Friend'; $GLOBALS['xxAskQue']='Ask a Question';
Gary
