Hi,

Is there a means to populate customer name and addresses to speed the process? We manually enter orders for custom items almost daily. Currently, we open another window, copy each field from a previous order to the new manual order entry.

Thanks.

Are you talking speed entry into: accounting software, shipping, payment or something else?

The reason I ask is we use the "copy to clipboard" into accounting software and process cards. We do have to copy / paste into shipping software though.

We manually enter orders into ECT via the "New order" button. Many times, the customer is a repeat customer so they are in the ECT database. The "Autocomplete" check box does not seem to do anything, (for me anyway). If it would query the customers in the database as I type and let me choose one and bring in the record, that would be fabulous!

If you have auto complete on, and enter the customers email address, it will populate the entire address fields.

Ha! This does not work for me. Both in Chrome and Edge, when inserting the email address in a new order with autocomplete on, I do not get any of the fields filled.

It only works (populates address fields) if the customer has a previous order, or a client account (with address populated) I believe.
Autocomplete also works with the product id's. When typing in that field, you should see suggestions, the same with the email field.
