USPS Connection Error

1234 Ecommerce Template Expert USA 981 Posts	Posted - 08/30/2022 : 13:54:05 I have been receiving this error message on my shipping selection page most of the day today. This pertains to USPS shipping: "Error, couldn't connect to https://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll (-2147012894). The operation timed out" Is this something that will resolve itself? Is this on my end, or an error with the USPS server? (Unfortunately I am also having a non-related issue with UPS, so at this point I am down to using just FedEx and am currently receiving a 100% shopping cart abandonment rate.)
Vince Administrator 42948 Posts	Posted - 08/31/2022 : 01:58:10 USPS does seem to be working for me now but another user was having problems yesterday. Can you try now and see if it is connecting ok? If not then it is possible that there is a router down between your server and the USPS server and you should get your host to check the connection to that URL from your server. 1234 Ecommerce Template Expert USA 981 Posts	Posted - 08/31/2022 : 05:50:01 It seems to be working fine this morning. It was a bit sketchy there for a while. It went on for most of the day yesterday so I wasn't sure if something had happened on my end, or with USPS. Thanks for the quick response.
