I've been getting incorrect ship dates when ShipStation updates admin. The dates are correct on ShipStation, but sometimes way off in admin.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Roger

Hi Roger
In shipstation you can set the timezone of your store so have you checked this is set correctly?

Hi Roger
Can you give me a few more details then like for instance, by how much are the dates off? Also, you say this is "sometimes" but does that mean that at times the dates are correct? Can you give a few examples maybe?

Hi Vince
This has not been a problem for the last few days. I have some examples from 10-3-22 that are time stamped 9-26-22 for some reason, but can't rule out user error on these. I will keep an eye on this and reply to this thread of it recurs.

Thanks

Roger

The problem is back. Shipped order 17403 today, date stamped 9-20-22 in admin after ShipStation update. Date in ShipStation is correct.

Don't mean to blitz the thread, but here are more that shipped today and date stamps are wrong in admin:

17472 stamped 10-11-22
17458 stamped 10-4-22
17445 stamped 10-4-22

Hi Roger
I've just added support for a debug parameter in the file that processes the ship station updates but you do need a new version of the file. The changes have been added to the v7.4 and v7.5 updaters in the file...
vsadmin/ajaxservice.asp
Can you get a new copy of that and then set this parameter in your includes.asp file...
debugxmlemails=TRUE
The you should get sent emails when the shipstation updates are carried out. Then can you send those to me when you get a discrepancy? You'll also get emails when things like shipping is rated but just ignore / delete those.

Hi Roger, these three orders,

17472 stamped 10-11-22
17458 stamped 10-4-22
17445 stamped 10-4-22

What date did the customer(s) place them?
What was the date on the order(s) when they came in?
Did the date change at some point?

David

Hi David,
Here's the info (no changes in the order dates were made, don't know how that would work):

17472 order date 10-5-22 ship date stamped 10-11-22
17458 order date 10-2-22 ship date stamped 10-4-22
17445 order date 10-2-22 ship date stamped 10-4-22

Thanks

Roger

Hi Roger
The idea of this is just that when shipstation updates you should get debug information sent to your email with details about the parameters shipstation is using. Did you update from shipstation? Did you get any email? If so, can you send them to me. (vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com)

Hi Vince
Just did a couple of updates from ShipStation and no emails so far. Just double checked that the newest version of ajaxservice.asp is copied over and debugxmlemails=TRUE is in includes.asp.

Hi Roger
Ok, can you send the site FTP login to my email and I'll see if I can get the debug going.

It seems this issue was down to using an old plug-in rather than the built in ECT ShipStation integration. All seems to be good now.
