I have been using Brevo to send newsletter emails, but they have said about DKIM and not using my gmail email address, so I was considering using the mail list function within the software. I can send a simple text email as test to my admin gmail address, but as soon as I try to using the html editor to send a simple email nothing shows but the 'unsubscribe' text? I do have html highlighted in main settings?
Can you suggest what I am doing wrong?
Also if I was to use this for emails, is using my gmail account sensible or is this just going to flag lots of 'spam' - should I use an email assoc with the domain ie noreply@religiouscrafts.co.uk

Could you try sending a simple HTML email but without the HTML editor? For instance...

<html>
<body>
This is a test email.
</body>
</html>

We don't tend to find that SPAM is that much of a problem with GMail as their SPAM filters are so good. But it is always a better look if you can use your store domain in the email address.

For "Email Format" had you actually selected the "HTML Format"? If so, and you switch to "Text Format" is there any change?

I get exactly the same result. Changed from html to text, resulting email was identical.

Vince - is there a default ON 'subscribe to newsletter' setting during checkout in the hosted store, I couldn't find the setting?
