We would like to offer a BOGO discount.
These buy-one-get-one offers are very popular with customers, but the system won't let us do a buy-one-get-one at 50% off deal because the repeat every (which should be set to TWO) is greyed out when using a percent discount.

Is there any plans on changing this?

Is there any way to do a Buy-One-Get-One at 50% off?

On a different note, is there any way to say BOGO and enable the use to not have to buy two of exactly the same item, but say 50% off the lesser priced item?

The percentage discounts don't repeat as, being a percentage, you already get more discount when you buy more products so they don't need to repeat.

That’s not how BOGO works.
For buy-one-get-one purchases have to be in pairs.

My apologies for the confusion but really I was replying to the fact that the percentage discount repeat is greyed out, which is how it is intended to work. The cart doesn't include a buy one get one free discount as such.

You can do it with flat rate discounts.
