Is there a way to add a coupon for something for free. For example, use coupon code xyz for a free branded Hat or shirt

Tried this feature. It would be great if, in the cases of a free item, that the code applied only when the other items in the cart exceeded X ammount.
Example: Free [FreeProduct] with cart over $100. If [FreeProduct] is $20 and the other items in the cart are $80, then customer will get the free product because the total including the free item equal $100.
If your product is a set price, you can inflate the number on the discount admin page so that it is $120 so that the final cart is $100+, but if it is not a set amount that could make it tricker.
Also, it would be great if you could limit the free item to one of something in a category (or individual products that the discount is applied to). If I apply the discount to a category because I want to have someone pick one free widget of their choice in the category if the cart is $X, it does not seem to support that. I can set the max limit which will allow them to get 1 of EACH widget from that category, but not just 1 (if they put three different widgets in their cart).
