I am having an issue with address fields not showing in my shopping cart.
https://wp.vcnp.net/products/
https://wp.vcnp.net/cart/

I am updating the theme on a site and changing the version of ECT to the wordpress version.
I wiped the old version of ECT and installed a new version, importing data into the tables as appropriate.
Everything seems to be good, except on the checkout - the country selection does not appear to be working correctly.
It seems like ectcart.js and ectcart.css are loading - I think I see them in the header...

This may be almost the same problem I had with another installation a little while back:

I think Vince got me straightened out, but I don't remember what the resolution was.
Something to do with WordPress html encoding the js on that page...

Thank you
-Kurt

Hi Kurt
I had a check and WP seems to be escaping some of the javascript in the checkout page which is causing an error. But there is a "workaround" in the script precisely to stop WP escaping these characters. Is it possible that you have a plugin that might be modifying the code in any way?

I just deactivated every plugin, no difference.

That was the issue last time - the fix worked on that site (onefuture.us).
I wish I know more about the themes on these sites - clients had outside folk set them up and turn them over to me.
I get to fix what they mess up :(

Hi Kurt
Could you send me the site FTP login then and I'll take another look.

Hi Kurt
This is fixed now and was really down to the same issue as before but the changes were only in the advanced release and you were using the stability release. But while I was there I noticed there was another area that had the same problem and I've sorted that too plus a couple of CSS issues to do with the theme you are using.

Thank you!
My company has been using your product for a really long time.
We have VERY few problems with it.
When we do, you have always responded quickly, professionally, and effectively.
