Does anybody know the protocol for the new Cloud Version of reCAPTCHA?

Will we need to do anything different on the ECT end?

Changes to reCAPTCHA Terms of Service

Google is migrating all reCAPTCHA keys to Google Cloud Projects by the end of 2025. This transition will affect how users manage their reCAPTCHA services.

Key Changes

Migration Requirement: Users must migrate their existing reCAPTCHA keys to Google Cloud Projects. Failure to do so may result in service disruptions, especially for high-traffic sites.

New Management Console: The legacy reCAPTCHA Admin Console will be deprecated. Users will need to manage their keys, view usage data, and set permissions through the Google Cloud Console.

Billing Setup: Even low-traffic websites will need to set up a billing account. While usage may remain free under certain thresholds, future charges could apply if limits are exceeded.

Impact on Users

Service Continuity: To avoid interruptions, it is crucial to complete the migration process before the deadline.

Cost Considerations: Users should evaluate whether the benefits of reCAPTCHA justify the potential administrative and financial overhead associated with the new billing structure.

Interesting.
I had to go through that to be able to use the google maps API in the admin orders.
It seems like it was not very intuitive when I did it, but that was a few years ago, so maybe the have made changes.
I guess like google maps, it's free as long as your usage is not extreme, but just in case, they want a payment on file.
