Hi, for last several days I have been getting the following email at midngiht:

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

http://www......com/vsadmin/ppconfirm.php

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

I am currently on v7.7.8 and have the following payment methods enabled: Braintree and PayPal Checkout.

When I logged into the IPN settings in PayPal, I do see notifications sending and re-sending and failing. Since my version of PayPal should NOT rely on this, I went ahead and turned OFF IPN within PayPal 3 days ago. Payments are still working on the site, so turning off did not affect anything in terms of PayPal.

However, these warning emails are still coming in. I only have 1 PayPal account, and with IPN turned off in PayPal, could it just be the backlog of old, failing IPNs? Is there anything on the shopping cart side that would still be sending them?

Could I just check that you are using PayPal Checkout now and not the old PayPal Standard or Express integrations?

Yesterday I updated to Ecommerce Plus PHP v7.9.1. The only PayPal change I made is to enable PayPal Advanced.

Today I did not get the notice, so maybe that changed something.
