Let me start off by saying I hate Froala. Now that's off my chest.... I have some questions to the group

1. I tried to import a image from my website. Froala goes off to some location on their site for a handful of silly images. How do I change the settings to point Froala to my server location?
2. I manually entered a link to an image on my server I want to show. Froala shows ???? marks. I checked my server and nothing is being blocked.
3. I tried to upload and even dropin the logo from Froala.... nothing.... just nothing.

On a side note: I use content regions like crazy. I copy code into them and for the most part, even though Froala likes to add their own code in there it still works. But I have had instances where I had to disable Froala, put in the code, and then turn Froala back on. Hoping I don't have to go back in there as Froala will wipe out some of the code.

I looked into it, Froala and CKeditor costs a crazy monthly fee....

What is everyone else using or is there a fix to all of this madness?

I agree. Froala needs extensive modification for it to work acceptably with Ecommerce Templates. I raised the topic back in 2024 and made some progress. But a few issues remain unsolved to this day.

You can look at my "Froala Customization Project" here: https://itzap.com.au/Froala-Customization-Project

It is complicated. Everything I know is on that page and there is a free download file. I don't wish to become involved in a string of questions.

I have it turned on so I can see my layout, but really I just flip to code view and work in the html.
I know that goes against having the editor, but it's actually helps you write html by showing when you have made an error.
Adding an image is super easy - <img src="location-of-image"> it's that simple.
