You just helped me update the store to the newest version as I ran into a database error when I ran updatestore. I gave you ftp info and you updated the store for me

I am getting invalid origin (UPS) when I try to use ups rates on a Canadian order. I added the shiporiginstate="OH" to my includes. Any ideas what Im missing?

This is really strange and if I use your origin zip I get the same error but if I use say 90210 then no error. I've written to UPS to ask if they can help.

Thanks for checking into this.


I did forget to mention US address seem to work fine. Just international is giving the error. I need the UPS for the international as we are using weight based for USA.

we have a daily pick-up form UPS at 45370 and everything. Have had it for 25 years... so O know its not a service issue with UPS

I got a reply from UPS where they just said that Time In Transit information was not available for your origin. We call the Time In Transit endpoint as we get extra information about time in transit and it seems a bit strange that they would just error if the information was not available rather than sending the rating information and not the transit times. I've written back to them to clarify and hopefully we can get an answer soon.

I removed your other post about this as it's pretty much a duplicate.

Hi Scott
There is a fix for this now in the updater and it really comes down to not adding time in transit information for international shipments as you can't really rely on their api to not throw an error.

Where can I get the updater. Just checked updaters and it still says 7.9.2 is the latest update?

I've added this to the v7.9.2 updater for now. There will be an official release of v7.9.3 in a few days.
