Upon updating to ASP 7.9, I am unable to complete the update as when i run the updatemystore.asp it gets bout 90% done and gives this error.

I had this same problem updating sailorstailor.com and Vince uploaded a fresh copy of the updater and said that seemed to resolve the issue.

Now I am updating a second store beanbag.com/wjsails.htm and I am getting the same message. Different server

It says I so not have ASP classic istalled, but I checked and it is supposed to be on. Same thing happened with sailorstailor and without making any changes to the server on my end, Vince updated on his end and all was resolved. Maybe the copy for download is corrupt??

O was able to update from version 7.8 to version 7.9.0 with no problems. Success

but

when i try to update to 7.9.2 I get an error message as it starts adding rows to the database

it only worked when Vince updated it for me.

I need updated UPS and USPS menus in 7.9.2

Is this problem fixed now? I'm not sure if you are still having an issue as it seemed to all go ok when I updated.

No... I was able to upgrade to 7.9.0 but that seems to be missing the new log in credential needed for UPS and USPS.

I tired downloading a new copy of the asp updater 7.9.2 several times, and I keep getting an error message when I run updatestore.asp about 1/2 way into install.

Do you have the copy of the updater you fixed sailorstailor.com with. You said that worked, and that is now running 7.9.2.


I'm trying to do my 2nd site now at beanbag.com/wjsails.htm and not able to get to 7.9.2

I ran the updatestore.asp script on the wjsails site and again, no problem. I'll copy the v7.9.2 updater to the server again but it should be exactly the same as what is there.

Looks like you got it. I am finally running 7.9.2. Thank you

Just tested the UPS to Canada and I am getting the same UPS error Invalid Origin.

Sending from 45370 to 6740 Fallsview Blvd, Niagara Falls ON L2G 3W6
a 2lb box 30 x 6 x 7 in....

UPS Invalid Origin, USPS does work and says Priority Mail International $46.88(2-3 days)

So we just need to get the UPS working and all will be well.
